Connecting Integrations
Mimo Forms makes it easy to route your form data wherever it needs to go. We support dozens of native integrations that take just seconds to set up. In this guide, we'll show you how to connect your forms to some of the most popular platforms.
Step 1: Browse Available Integrations
To start routing your data, you first need to select an integration from the directory.
- Log into your Mimo Forms dashboard.
- Navigate to the Integrations tab.
- You will see a categorized list of available connections, including Chat (Slack, Discord), Databases (Google Sheets, Airtable), and Automation (Zapier, Webhooks).
Step 2: Set up Google Sheets Sync
Synchronizing validation records dynamically into rows of a target Google Sheet document is one of our most popular integrations.
- Create a new Google Sheet to store your data and copy the "Spreadsheet ID" from the URL.
- In Mimo Forms, find Google Sheets Sink and click Connect.
- Enter your Google Spreadsheet ID and the exact Sheet Tab Name (e.g.,
Sheet1). - You will be provided with a unique service account email address by Mimo Forms.
- Go to your Google Sheet, click Share, and grant "Editor" access to the provided service account email.
[!NOTE]
If your columns in Google Sheets have headers that perfectly match thenameattributes of your form fields, Mimo Forms will map the data automatically!
Step 3: Route Notifications to Slack or Discord
Alert your sales or operations team instantly on every verified lead submission by sending a message to a chat channel.
For Slack Connect:
- Go to the Slack API portal and create a new Slack App in your workspace.
- Generate a Bot User OAuth Token.
- In Mimo Forms, enter the
#channel-namewhere notifications should be routed, and paste the OAuth token.
For Discord Webhooks:
- In your Discord server, go to Server Settings -> Integrations -> Webhooks.
- Generate a new Webhook URL.
- Paste the URL directly into the Mimo Forms Discord integration settings.
Step 4: Use Zapier or Webhooks for Custom Workflows
For complete flexibility, you can fire a custom Webhook on every submission, allowing you to connect to thousands of other apps.
- In Mimo Forms, locate the Webhooks or Zapier Automation integration.
- If using Zapier, create a new Zap with a "Webhooks by Zapier" (Catch Hook) trigger.
- Zapier will provide you with a custom Webhook URL.
- Paste this URL into the Mimo Forms integration settings. Now, every submission will trigger your Zap!
[!TIP]
Mimo Forms also natively supports Gemini AI and OpenAI, allowing you to automatically generate summaries or parse unstructured data from form submissions before sending them to your database.
