Duplicating & Managing Forms

As your workspace grows, keeping track of your forms and experimenting with new designs safely becomes important. In this guide, we'll cover how to duplicate existing forms to save time and how to manage their publish status.

Step 1: Access Your Forms List

All form management happens in your central forms dashboard.

1. Log into your Mimo Forms dashboard.
2. Click on the Forms tab in the main navigation.
3. You will see a list of all your forms. You can use the filter buttons at the top to view "All", "Published", or "Draft" forms specifically.

Step 2: Duplicate an Existing Form

If you need to create a new form that is similar to an existing one, duplicating it will save you from having to rebuild it from scratch.

1. In your Forms list, locate the form you want to copy.
2. Click the More options icon (the three vertical dots) on the right side of that form's row.
3. Select Duplicate form from the dropdown menu.
4. A toast notification will confirm that the form was duplicated.
5. The new copy will appear in your list immediately, set to Draft status.

[!TIP]
Duplicating a form copies all of its fields and settings, but it does not copy any of the original form's submission data. Your new form will start with 0 entries!

Step 3: Change Form Status (Publish/Draft)

Sometimes you need to take a live form offline temporarily without deleting it.

1. Locate the published form in your list.
2. Click on the form to open its builder.
3. In the top right corner, you can toggle the status button to switch it back to Draft.
4. When a form is in Draft mode, the public link will display a "Form not found or offline" message to anyone who tries to visit it.
5. To bring it back online, simply open the builder and click Publish again!

[!IMPORTANT]
Moving a form to Draft mode does not delete any of the submissions you have already collected. All your data is safely retained in the Submissions tab.
